National Pancake Day Pancake Eating Contest

Magnolia held its first ever Pancake Eating Contest on National Pancake Day to help raise money for our local Multiple scoliosis chapter and the Bike MS ride. We had 6 contestants who competed to win the championship trophy for fastest pancake eater in San Antonio. They had the challenge of eating 6 of our famous huge buttermilk pancakes with 6 oz of Haus made syrup, 1 tablespoon of butter and a 12oz glass of milk. Among the 6 contestants, our victor, Chris Potter, completed the task in 5 minutes and 1 second. Chris is a member of the local MS chapter and participates in the ride every year! We are thankful to everyone who came out to support our 1st contest and look forward to having it again next year with the ability for local contestants to participate!”
